Financial Aid
The Field Academy is committed to making our programs accessible for all students regardless of their financial background.
We uphold this commitment by working closely with each accepted applicant on financial aid, scholarship, and fundraising. And we have never turned away a student based on their financial resources. Never. And we never intend to. The first step in our financial aid process is to fill out our regular application. We do our admissions need-blind. On that application, you have the opportunity to mark if you are interested in learning more about financial aid. Once accepted, we will send you a financial aid application for you to fill out, and we take the process from there. If you are worried about this, have questions, or want to know more about how our process works, please send us an email at students@fieldacademy.org. We'll be excited to hear from you. Regional Scholarships The Field Academy offers a full scholarship for students who are connected to a community in one of the regions we have previously traveled through. That means if you are from Central Appalachia, the Southwest, or New England, you may be eligible for a scholarship! There is a section of the financial aid application that will require you to write an essay on the following prompt: What do you hope to learn this summer? How do you hope to learn these things? Why is this important to you? What do you plan to do with what you learn? How do you plan to bring what you have learned back to where you are from? Email us to find out more! |
